“Every journey begins with a single step….”

My relationship with energy began as a young child. Energy would course through me, sometimes pleasurably and other times unexpectedly. Yet when I touched others, they would notice heat coming through my hands.
At age 18 I received training in Aromatherapy massage. During one of the classes, another student suggested that I was using too much of my own energy and that I should explore getting attuned to Reiki. I had no idea what she meant or what Reiki was, but my curiosity was piqued. A few years later after completing a Shiatsu training, the word Reiki was again mentioned by a dear friend who was a Reiki master. Once again the idea was proposed to stop using my own energy source and instead tap into the universal flow that is all around us.
This time I took heed and was shortly thereafter attuned to Reiki Level One: My life changed. I began to feel and know the unlimited flow of healing energy that is the Source of all Creation and I began to use it in my healing practice. I followed the path of Reiki until I became attuned to the Reiki Master Level in both the Usui tradition and also the Karuna and Holy Fire Reiki traditions. Reiki allows me to transmit this energy overflow to my clients. Since then I have used the energy of Reiki as a large part of my healing work.
One of the deepest honors of my work is to attune people to all the different levels and traditions of Reiki.
And for this privilege, I give my deepest love and gratitude to the extraordinary light and guidance that Francesca Di Picciotto M.D. lovingly gave me. Francesca was a mentor, a dear friend and a loving partner as we taught Reiki workshops together for many years. Even though she is no longer in body, I always feel her presence while attuning and am forever grateful for all that she bestowed upon me.
I pray her wisdom and love will continue to guide my journey with Reiki.
